Let's see. Well, there were our two big dance/art/food/up-til-dawn parties: our housewarming Hypothesis, and the Halloween/triple-birthday Trick or Treat.
There was art: Erin's Deceminate holiday craft fair, our gingerbread village explosion Cinderbration, and Brian's Deconstruction art gallery.
And music... was there ever music. Gamelan Sekar Jaya performed, Cubik and Origami released their record, Laurel's string quartet had an open rehearsal (not to mention their regular rehearsals...) and we made music all the time.
We started holding
Wednesday Experimentson the first and third Wednesday of each month. So far we've had a lockpicking seminar, tasty molecular gastronomy experiments, journeys to china and nepal, and flavor tripping.
And that's not all... Stephanie hosted a documentary film series as an Obama fundraiser... Kishore's Science Cafe taught about drinking water... Rupa threw a momo festival... friends with a TV show screened their first episodes (and shot some questionable footage inside the house)... Camp True Prophet prepared for Burning Man and Priceless... hosted photo shoots... fixed the hole in our mainspace roof, finished the small downstairs bathroom, nearly finished the big downstairs bathroom, got an oven (finally!) and painted the kitchen... hosted dozens of fantastic houseguests...
So what should we do in 2009?
